10 most expensive houses in London in 2022: Belgravia house valued at £92m, Knightsbridge mansion valued at £27m

Central London’s property market boomed in 2022 as “effectively one billionaire a week” bought some of the country’s most exclusive homes.
Many of the biggest financiers were foreign investors, including a Swiss billionaire and a Turkish e-commerce tycoon.
A total of 52 sales of £15m or more were made last year, with properties worth £1.5bn changing hands.
Gary Hersham, founding director of Beauchamp Estates, told The Times that up to half of this year’s big sales were American buyers who benefited from the US dollar’s strength against the unpredictable sterling.
