15-year-old girl dies after being hit by bus in Birmingham: police ask for dashcam footage

  • BREAKING: A 15-year-old girl has died after being hit by a bus in Birmingham

A 15-year-old girl has died in Birmingham after being hit by a bus.

West Midlands Police said the bus driver was assisting with the investigation into the collision in Sheaf Lane, Sheldon, just before 3pm on Saturday.

The teenager’s death was confirmed shortly after he arrived at the hospital.

PC Gail Arnold, of the WMP Severe Collision Investigation Unit, said: “A young girl has tragically died and we will do everything we can to support her family at this deeply distressing time.

“We are working to determine the circumstances behind the collision and are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, particularly anyone who has dash cam footage.”
