Dubai Is Opening a New Football-Themed Hotel

World Cup 2022 is just right around the corner, and many fans are gearing to book their cheap flights and hotels to stay in and around the region during the big event if they haven’t done so.

With Qatar as the host country this year, understandably many would want to find suitable accommodation in Doha for the duration of the game or as a resting point if they’re only watching the match of the day. However, it’s been reported that hotels are filling up quick and making a booking anywhere in the country is fast becoming a challenge. Enter Dubai as an alternative.

Dubai’s close proximity to the World Cup host country makes it an alluring basecamp option; a direct flight from the emirate to Doha takes only about an hour or so. The recent government announcement that UAE will issue special multi-entry visa for World Cup tourists also helps to further market Dubai as a convenient and exciting holiday destination for football fans.

Capitalizing on all the excitement and opportunities, Dubai—a city awashed with luxurious and iconic establishments—looks to launch the NH Dubai The Palm. NH Dubai The Palm is a first-of-its-kind hotel in the UAE with a football theme. Located on the man-made island of Palm Jumeirah, NH Dubai aspires to be the centre of football enthusiasts. The hotel will open in November, just in time for the momentous occasion.

Beautiful views of the Arabian Sea, Marina skyline, the Burj Al Arab, and the Dubai Eye can be enjoyed from the hotel. It has 533 rooms that cover hotel guest rooms, suites, and apartments. Guests will feel pampered with its infinity rooftop pool, access to the beach, and other special amenities. Football enthusiasts staying in NH Dubai will have their field day at the hotel’s special sports bar; the bar will also serve as a fan zone for football fans looking to watch the matches among like-minded friends.

Football fans are also welcome to participate in the exclusive hotel experience, organized by Expat Sport. The sports tourism business is offering packages that include NH Dubai hotel accommodations and airport transportation to the hotel. Here are the details of the packages that they offer:

4-night for AED 4,700 or USD 1,290

For fans that want a more compact experience, NH Dubai also offers a hospitality package that starts from AED 3,500 or USD 952,89. The package includes special parking in the stadium and food and beverages. Fans can pay AED 18,000 to take advantage of a lounge seat for a group match, six-course meals, drinks, and butler service.

Along with the hospitality packages, fans will also receive welcome packages, match tickets, and discount cards for “fans zones” located throughout the city. They will have access to shuttle buses ferrying them to fan zones at Football Park at DIFC, the Coca-Cola Area, and Dubai Harbour.

Fans can also reserve the stadium suite for AED 82,000 for a unique and private experience of The World Cup 2022.
