Brazil

A longtime staple of the football world, Brazil are usually considered a favorite pretty much every time the finals occur. The country has been consistently good at producing excellent quality players and it is almost an afterthought to include Brazil in the teams who could win another World Cup. They have won the World Cup 5 times which makes them the most successful team so far in the history of FIFA, with their first win being in 1958 and the most recent occurring in 2002. They did have a dry spell during the 1970s and 1980s but bounced back to take the 1994 win against Italy.

France

If you were so inclined to bet on international football, France is a good place to start. They are the reigning champions, having beat Croatia 4-2 in the main final in 2018 which was hosted by Russia. This was France’s second World Cup victory, with the first being in 1998 against Brazil. That event was held in France so you can be sure that the French did not want to lose on their home soil. And lose they did not. They soundly beat Brazil 3-0 and earned themselves a deserved place in the history of the FIFA World Cup. This team will be looking to retain their well-deserved title, no matter who they go up against.

England

Although England has only won one title (1966), they are still widely considered formidable opponents who will always thirst for more victories. They ended up being semi finalista in the 2018 finals and have once again qualified for the 2022 tournament. Expect a team who will put up a fight to gain the World Cup. It has to be stated that England has always been an intimidating country when it comes to sports, be it football, rugby, or cricket so it only stands to reason that they want to take the title away from France and become the new world champions.
