A Buffalo Bills fan appears to have been a little overwhelmed at his team’s home game on Sunday after a bizarre series of events led to him being rescued by emergency responders from a 40-foot hole outside the stadium.
The unnamed 29-year-old, who claims he was under the influence of alcohol, LSD, cocaine and marijuana, was rescued by officers in a 20-minute rescue operation before the game. The first call came around 12:18 p.m. ET.
Security guards and fans outside the stadium told police they saw the man stripping naked at a local toilet before covering himself in human excrement.
He then reportedly jumped the fence into the construction site of the new Bills stadium, located west of their current home in Orchard Park, across Abbott Road and south of Community College Drive.
Incredibly, the man’s only injury after his rescue was a cut to his forehead and he was transported to Buffalo General Hospital where he was then examined by medical staff.

70,000 fans came to Highmark Stadium for the game – but one didn’t make it that far

The unpleasant incident occurred in parking lot 3, where construction work is currently taking place

Most Bills fans enjoyed the game – and managed to keep their clothes on throughout the win
According to Sheriff Garcia of the Erie County Sheriff’s Office, the man was also issued a ticket in the city of Orchard Park for trespassing.
Unfortunately for the Bills fan, he also missed out on his team’s first win of the season as Josh Allen and Co. rebounded from a Monday Night Football loss to the Jets to beat the Las Vegas Raiders 38-10.
According to police, there were a total of eight ejections from the stadium before, during and after the game – although none of the others are likely to come close to the bizarre nature of the pre-game intruder.
The Bills next face a road game against the Washington Commanders in Week 3.
