A “drunk” woman is now fighting on a Ryanair flight from Manchester to Ibiza after passengers accused her of assaulting her before being thrown off the flight

This is the shocking moment a ‘drunk’ woman got into a fight on a Ryanair flight to Ibiza after passengers accused her of assaulting her – before she was thrown from her flight.

Witness Lyndsay Cash was boarding the flight from Terminal 3 at Manchester Airport on Monday when arguments broke out in the rows in front of her.

The 43-year-old’s footage showed the woman in a pink top standing in the aisle arguing with a holidaymaker before being pulled away in a headlock.

Someone – presumably the woman in pink – could be heard repeatedly yelling at her rivals and vowing “I will find you”.

Lyndsay said police escorted the woman and three other people off the plane to applause in the aisles.

The beautician was upset when her 3pm flight was delayed an hour and a half and said some children even broke down in tears over the incident.

Greater Manchester Police have confirmed that two men and a woman, all in their 30s, have been arrested and remain in custody for questioning.

The angered passenger got up to continue the mid-aisle shouting while men believed to be family members tried to restrain him.

The “drunk” woman then tried to punch before being pulled backwards by a man in green who was trying to deal with the angry holidaymakers himself.

He reportedly pushed one passenger and yelled in another’s face while his fellow passengers looked on in shock and small children could be heard sobbing in horror.

Lyndsay believes Ryanair staff should not have allowed the woman on the plane and should have done more to calm the situation rather than “leave it to the passengers”.

She posted pre-launch footage of the fight to Facebook, where it drew nearly 150 reactions in less than an hour.

Lyndsay, from Wigan, Greater Manchester, said: “As she got on the plane she rushed everyone.”

Lyndsay said the incident happened about 15 minutes before the plane was scheduled to take off from Terminal Three at 3 p.m

“She was drunk and when someone pointed it out, she got offended and started hitting on everyone.” They just started fighting in the aisle and it got really aggressive.

“The stewardesses didn’t help much and the kids were upset.” “I wasn’t happy with the way it was handled.”

She continued, “It annoyed me and everyone else on the plane.” Everyone clapped as she was taken away and she even fought with the police.

“I don’t think they should have been let on the plane and I think the stewards should have been a lot quicker.” It was left to the passengers to take care of that.

“If you can’t handle that, don’t drink.”

Lyndsay said the incident happened about 15 minutes before the plane was scheduled to take off from Terminal Three at 3 p.m.

She says the rest of the passengers stayed on the flight until it departed just after 4:30 p.m.

Her Facebook post, sarcastically captioned “Don’t you just love an Ibiza flight?” received more than 80 comments in just one hour.

One user commented: “Omg! I feel sorry for the little ones on this plane. I know my little boy would have been scared. What’s wrong with grown women!’

A second said, ‘What the hell?’ They’ll be gutted in the morning.’

A third added: “This is just pathetic. ‘What are you 10 years old?’

A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: “Officers were called around 3pm yesterday (Monday 21 August) to reports of disruptive passengers boarding a flight departing from Manchester Airport.”

“Two men in their 30s and one woman, also in their 30s, were all arrested on suspicion of being drunk on board an airplane.” One of the men and the woman were also arrested on suspicion of assaulting police officers. They all remain in custody for questioning.”

A Ryanair spokesman said: “This flight from Manchester to Ibiza (21 August) was delayed prior to departure due to a small number of passengers causing disruption.”

“These passengers were removed from the plane by local police and the flight continued safely to Ibiza after a short delay.”

“This is now a matter for the local police.” We sincerely apologize to the affected passengers for any inconvenience caused by the disruptive behavior of these passengers.”

Manchester Airport declined to comment when contacted by MailOnline.
