A Texas teenager is accused of shooting his family dead because he thought they were cannibals

A Texas teenager murdered his parents and two siblings because he thought they were “cannibals” and “intended to eat him,” according to an affidavit.
Cesar Olalde, 18, has been charged with murder for killing both of his parents, his older sister and his little brother, in an incident at his family’s home in Nash, Texas on Tuesday.
According to an affidavit filed on Wednesday, Olalde allegedly shot and killed his parents Reuben and Aida, as well as his older sister Lisbet and brother Oliver.
The documents say Olalde shot all four of them and then dragged their bodies into a restroom on the property before barricading himself inside the house.
It is also alleged that Cesar was making statements at the time of the incident that he killed his family because they were cannibals and they would eat him.

According to authorities, Joseph Flieder told police Olalde said he had killed his family after Flieder stopped by their home to check on his colleague Lisbet, who had failed to show up for work.
Flieder told police that other friends and family of the Olalde had called their local church for information on her whereabouts.
Flieder said when he and his wife appeared at the apartment, he was not answered at the door and another member of the Olalde family arrived at the scene.
The two decided to force entry into the property to check on the family and were confronted upon entering by Olalde, who was said to be wielding a firearm.
After his wife left the home, Flieder told police Cesar said he killed his family because they were cannibals and had plans to eat him.
It is also alleged that throughout the exchange, Olalde frequently pointed a gun at Lilac and also pointed a knife at him.
Flieder managed to flee the property before Olalde was taken into custody after police officers arrived at the scene and surrounded the property.
Inside the residence, the authorities said they found each of the victims shot multiple times and died in a bathroom.
