ABC’s Hard Quiz impresses in the ratings but falls short of Channel Nine’s Married At First Sight

Meanwhile, The Weekly starring Charlie Pickering was another primetime hit for ABC.

The satirical comedy series attracted 396,000 fans in Metro ratings.

Over at Nine, the ratings juggernaut Married at First Sight has once again crushed all competition.

The fast-paced dating show was the most-watched primetime show with 836,000 viewers in major cities.

Channel Seven drama Home and Away continues to surge in popularity in 2023 season.

The long-running soap fell somewhat from Tuesday’s 476,000 viewer rating, but still managed 459,000 fans across all five major centers on Wednesday.

Popular quiz show The Chase Australia, also on Seven, lost some viewers overnight.

The program made it to 411,000 fans in the Metro ratings.

Channel 10 had another miserable ratings performance overnight, with current affairs panel show The Project reaching just 234,000 viewers in tube centres.

Channel Nine won the night overall with 34.7 per cent of available viewers, while rival Channel Seven came in second with a 24.4 per cent share.

ABC ended the evening in third place with a strong 18 percent viewership.

The hard-fought private broadcaster Channel 10 took fourth place with an audience share of 14.9 percent.
