Adelaide Crows vs West Coasts: David King lashes out at Eagles after Taylor Walker rampage

David King lashes out at West Coast after Adam Simpson’s side parried a first-half strike against Taylor Walker and Adelaide Crows, while the football legend urges the struggling Eagles to show fight for the beleaguered coach

David King has urged West Coast to “show some determination” after the struggling AFL side repelled a Crows punch on Saturday.

Adelaide went into half-time 92-26 in South Australia, with Taylor Walker raging in his 250th AFL game.

That brought even more pain to the Eagles, who have endured a torrid season that put coach Adam Simpson in a dangerous position.

And King gave a candid assessment at the break, stressing that poor performances like at the Adelaide Oval “do not help the coach”.

“What will Adam Simpson do?” he said on Fox Footy. “Adam Simpson is fighting for his job in Western Australia and performances like this aren’t helping.” “They need to step up and show determination as the proud football club they are.”
