Amy Schumer has been accused of “cyberbullying” Nicole Kidman after she made fun of the star at the US Open.

The American comedian, 42, shared a photo of the Australian actress, 56, at the US Open tennis tournament on Instagram on Monday.

The picture shows Nicole in a pink dress staring wide-eyed at the camera with her hand under her chin as she watches the women’s singles final between US sensation Coco Gauff and world number 1 Aryna Sabalenka .

In the caption of the picture, Schumer wrote, “This is how people sit.”

Many fans appreciated the joke at Kidman’s expense, but others weren’t as impressed and took to the comments to express their displeasure.

On Monday morning, Amy poked fun at the whole thing on Instagram: “I want to apologize to all the people I hurt by posting a photo of Nicole Kidman and alluding to her being an alien.”

“I’m going to ask the cast of this ’70s show to write letters asking for my forgiveness.” She added the hashtag for taking time to heal.
