Anna Kendrick looked absolutely gorgeous while guest starring on ABC’s daytime talk show The View.

During the promotion of her new movie, Alice, Darling, which hits theaters December 30, the 37-year-old Pitch Perfect star stepped out in a light blue floral mini dress, a long white coat and a pair of satin pumps stunned by the golden ribbons on it.

For the taping, the Emmy nominee showcased her toned legs in her thigh-length dress, which she accessorized with a pair of gold earrings and a black quilted handbag.

As she snapped selfies and signed autographs for the fans who packed outside, the actress’ red locks fell in loose waves over her shoulders.

Her appearance comes a day after she revealed on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast that she suffered from “mental abuse” in a previous relationship

“I was dating someone – that was someone I was living with, my husband in every way. We had embryos together, that was my person,” she said.

The performer continued, “And then about six years later, somewhere nearby, I remember telling my brother when things first shrunk, ‘I live with a stranger. I do not know what happens .”‘

She noticed his personality had changed and her partner later told her he had feelings for another woman, but she tried to work on the relationship despite the issues.

“The worst part was, I was like, ‘Please don’t say this girl’s name,’ and he started talking about this girl.”

“So I had a conversation with CAA, my agency, and they said I need to take some time off, I have a mental health issue.”

“I started seeing two therapists a week and I started trying to learn how to meditate and I came to Al-Anon and all of those things were very wonderful things to me in the long run but initially thought Me: “Tell me how to stop being crazy. Tell me how to stop feeling anything

She then revealed that when she started seeing a therapist who helped her set boundaries, it finally helped her end the unhealthy connection: “And that was really scary and really hard, but that ended the relationship. “
