Manchester United striker Antony has been left out of the Brazil squad after his ex-girlfriend accused him of threatening her while pregnant, damaging breast implants and cutting her finger.
Gabriela Cavallin, a DJ and influencer, has filed police reports against Antony in both her native Brazil and England and investigations are ongoing.

Antony faces renewed domestic violence charges just days after the club showed Mason Greenwood the door.
Antony issued a statement last night denying the allegations.
“I can say with certainty that the allegations are false,” he wrote on social media. “My relationship with Ms. Gabriela was turbulent, there were verbal abuse from both sides, but I never engaged in physical aggression.” “I trust that the ongoing police investigation will bring the truth about my innocence to light.”
The issue is even more sensitive for United after Greenwood made a loan move to Spanish club Getafe last week following a six-month investigation at the club.
United ruled Greenwood could no longer play for them, despite prosecutors dropping the attempted rape and assault charges against him in February.

Cavallin filed a complaint against Antony with Greater Manchester Police and reported four incidents of domestic violence, assault and threats to authorities in Sao Paulo in June.
On Monday, she went into more detail to Brazilian website UOL, posting WhatsApp screenshots and images of her injuries.
Cavallin accused Antony of assaulting her in a car while on vacation in Brazil last June and threatening to throw her out of the vehicle at high speed.
She followed the player to Manchester when he joined United from Ajax for £81.3m and claims she was the victim of another attack in January, which removed a breast implant and lacerated her head.
The last attack, she claims, happened in May, when Antony threatened her with a glass and she cut her finger to defend herself. “I was very afraid that I wouldn’t be able to leave the house,” she said.
“Antony locked the door and wouldn’t let me out.” I had my finger open, everything hurt. He broke my things and stole my passport.’
A police statement last night said: “Greater Manchester Police are aware of the allegations made and inquiries are ongoing to determine the circumstances of this report.”
