AOC faces an ethics complaint from the Heritage Foundation over “defamation” of TikTok creator’s libraries

Progressive arsonist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, DN.Y., has been served with an ethics complaint by an outside group accusing her of “slandering” the creator of the Libs of TikTok account on Twitter with more than 2 million followers.

The creator, Chaya Raichik, provided the legal papers herself.

The conservative Heritage Foundation asked the Office of Congressional Ethics to open an investigation into the matter.

The move does not guarantee an investigation by the House Ethics Committee, which has a bipartisan membership and decides which matters involving lawmakers should be investigated.

New York lawmakers had posted about the account, “Are you aware…that from August 11-16, this account published false information about Boston Children’s Hospital and claimed that they performed hysterectomies on children?”

“And are you aware that this lie was then spread by other prominent far-right influencers?” wrote Ocasio-Cortez, in a claim to the account and his allies dispute.

The Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project released video of the moment Ocasio-Cortez, a “Squad” member, was served with the complaint at the Cannon House Office Building. Raichik provided paperwork himself at the dramatic moment the group posted.

“You’re actually super transphobic and I never want to share a room with you. Thank you,” the legislature shot back when serving.

The complaint, compiled by Heritage attorneys, accuses lawmakers of “knowingly and intentionally defaming Chaya Raichik, the creator of the Libs of TikTok viral account, and falsely accusing her of lying and spreading disinformation.”

It is argued that Libs of TikTok’s post was correct and that the hospital does indeed provide “gender-affirming care”.

Raichik said in the video, “I just filed an ethics complaint with your office because you lied about me at a committee hearing.”

The video also shows Raichik trying to deliver the papers to Ocasio-Cortez’s congressional bureau, telling a staffer she “lied about me” in a congressional hearing.

Then she met the legislature in the Capitol.

“Guess who I bumped into? AOC itself,” she said. First she posed for a selfie with AOC, then told her to her face that “you lied about me” – sparking the “super-transphobic” comeback.
