Apex Legends players are experiencing major server issues after the January 10 update

Apex Legends players have been having a rough time lately after the latest update brought server downs and issues.
Apparently, Respawn’s Spellbound Collection event update for Apex Legends hasn’t gone as smoothly as they’d hoped. The studio took to Twitter to confirm that some players were having “problems” connecting to the game’s server.
The website ApexLegendsStatus reported that only one region experienced the larger outages, but developers have since confirmed reports from other users who have encountered similar issues.
We’re aware that some players are having trouble connecting to the @PlayApex Server now enters/returns to the lobby. We’re working on a fix and will respond to this tweet with updates as soon as we have them. Thank you for your patience while we sort this out.

The site has since posted a banner that reads, “The server issues are now mostly resolved, but some players may still encounter some issues.”
North America, particularly the central regions, seemed to be experiencing the worst.
Players have dealt with returning to the lobby immediately after a game or deleting their roster entirely. Others were unable to connect to the game’s servers at all.
Respawn has said they are “working on a fix” and will let players know about it official twitter account when the issues have been resolved.
