Apex Legends silently nerfs Horizons Tactical

Apex Legends players picked up a change with Horizons Gravity Lift, and it seems it’s been quietly nerfed.

Secret Legend nerfs are nothing new, but it can confuse many players when their go-to character doesn’t work the way it used to. Horizon appears to be the latest Legend to be hit with some sneaky nerfs after players realized their Gravity Lift wasn’t as powerful as it used to be.

Apex per HisWattson posted about the changes on Twitter, saying “Horizon is dead.”

Previously, Horizon suffered no loss of accuracy when using her Gravity Lift Tactical with shots that hit the same in the air as they did on the ground.

But in HisWattson’s clip, the balls seemed far less accurate in the air after the Spellbound Collection event. Other legends receive penalties for using their abilities, like Octane when he uses his ultimate. But Horizon has apparently been exempt from such penalties so far.

Respawn has yet to confirm whether or not this nerf was intentional for Horizon, as it wasn’t listed in the patch notes for the event update.

The Apex Legends Spellbound Collection Event brought other issues for players, with some suffering from major server issues after the update.
