Arnold Schwarzenegger is seen with his arm bandaged after undergoing surgery for nerve damage in his elbow

Arnold Schwarzenegger was seen wearing a bandage on his arm after reportedly undergoing surgery for nerve damage in his elbow last week.

Arriving at his office in Beverly Hills on Saturday, the 76-year-old actor appeared to be in high spirits as he returned to his usual routine after receiving treatment for an injury that reportedly required surgery.

The father of five appeared to be taking the procedure in stride after TMZ reported that he was able to complete “his final workout just hours before his surgery” on Thursday.

For his relaxed outing, the bodybuilder wore a dark gray shirt, black shorts, matching compression socks and a pair of brown sneakers.

His full-arm brace extended from the middle of his upper arm to his wrist.

Earlier this month, the action star and former governor opened up about recovering from his third open heart surgery.

“I remember the third open heart surgery,” the FUBAR star said in a YouTube video that is part of his Arnold’s Pump Club, revealing that the surgery took place in 2018, a few months before he was scheduled to begin Working on Terminator 6.

The film was released in 2019 as Terminator: Dark Fate.

The actor revealed that he was scheduled to have a non-invasive heart valve replacement procedure, but when he came to, the doctor admitted that something bad had happened.

He says the surgeon told him: “We made a mistake and pierced the wall of the heart… and we had to open you up very quickly to save your life.”

After recovering from the shocking news of what he described as a “disaster,” Arnold appeared not to take the bad news seriously and focused on the next steps.

“You gather yourself, switch gears and say, ‘Okay, what I have to do now is I have to get out of this hospital?’

His response was to follow the doctor’s advice and start walking as soon as possible.

“The doctor said, ‘You need to train your lungs because if you get pneumonia, you can die.’

The Kindergarten Cop star shared footage of himself pushing a walker through the hospital hallways wearing yellow non-slip socks and a blue and white hospital gown.

Not wanting to be alone, the former California governor explained: “I called my friends and said, ‘You have to cheer me on, you have to count the steps I take.’

The video shows the bodybuilder and his friends slowly completing their steps as he began to slowly build up strength.

“And we did that every day,” he said. “Everyone came to the hospital and said, ‘Okay, Arnold, get up now, let’s go down the hall.’

The Expendable star said it’s important to have a good support system “because we can’t do any of this alone.”

After being discharged from the hospital, Arnold went to the gym to start training for his health and his upcoming film role.

The video shows him starting slowly with a few simple curls and then moving on to machines.

“I started Terminator 6 three months later, so I had to be in shape.”

The former Mr. Olympia included B-rolls from the set showing him working on action scenes, explaining, “I had to be able to move, walk around, pick things up, do the fight scenes and all those things .”’

Arnold has also switched to a predominantly plant-based diet to protect his heart health.

In a February 2022 newsletter, The Game Changers executive producer asked his vegan fans to send him their favorite recipes.
