Arsenal extended their lead at the top of the table to eight points after sweeping past Crystal Palace 4-1 at the Emirates on Sunday.
The visitors took the lead, almost shocked when Wilfried Zaha saw his shotgun bounce back off the post early on, but Arsenal shifted into gear during the first half and extended a commanding lead thanks to goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka.
Granit Xhaka made the three just after half-time but Palace briefly threatened a comeback when Jeffrey Schlupp pulled one back and then Zaha came close again. However, Saka ended the game with a composed finish from Kieran Tierney’s cut to keep Arsenal’s title fight firmly on course.
