Ashley Tisdale faces charges in 2022 car crash on Hollywood Boulevard as alleged victim seeks damages and claims actress ‘called her name’

Ashley Tisdale is being sued over a car accident she allegedly caused in 2022.

The “High School Musical” star, who recently celebrated his 38th birthday, is being sued in court by a woman named Lina Gonzales, who claims she sustained injuries in the accident that occurred on Hollywood Boulevard last September TMZ.

Gonzales states that she “suffered lost wages, medical expenses, and loss of love and protection” as a result of the accident and is now seeking damages.

Her attorney, Michael R. Parker, told the publication that Gonzales claimed Tisdale “called their names” and “made a big fuss about the situation” after the crash.

Parker explained the accident happened while Gonzales was waiting in the left lane to turn left. However, while Gonzales was waiting, Tisdale reportedly changed lanes and collided with her.

Parker claims the accident caused his client “serious neck and back injuries” and she faces approximately $140,000 in medical expenses.

The attorney said he made a claim against Tisdale for $600,000, but since it was denied, they took the matter to court.

Meanwhile, a Tisdale representative told the publication that “no aggressiveness or exchange of words took place” after the crash and that the two exchanged information and moved on.

This isn’t the first auto drama the actress has dealt with.

In 2019, she took to Twitter and accused filmmaker Kevin Smith of damaging her car in a minor accident and then driving away without an apology.

At the time, the two lived in the same neighborhood in the coveted and beautiful Hollywood Hills.

‘Thanks @ThatKevinSmith for scratching my mirror on my car and not stopping.’ Classy moving neighbor!’ She wrote.

A few hours later, the Clerks director tweeted back an apology and explanation.

“Sorry – I drive like Cruella de Vil in the hills!” I made a courtesy stop, though. Then when you first pulled away, I thought, “That’s soooo Sharpay…”

Appearing to buy his story, the actress shot back, “HA! Apology accepted.’

The two later worked things out in a face-to-face meeting when Kevin tweeted that Ashley stopped by his house and apologized.

The lawsuit comes after Tisdale recently had a birthday party.

Tisdale offered her fans a photo carousel on the beach and some life advice after her 38th birthday in July.

The former Disney star showed off her slim torso in a black swimsuit and white unbuttoned shorts.

“The last year has had so many incredible moments,” the MTV Movie Award winner began. “Things I dreamed up but never thought possible.”

“Here’s what I’ve learned so far. Manifestation is real, presence is key, hard work pays off, being authentic requires learning about yourself and that takes time, being there for others goes a long way and when life surprises you and it gets tough, learn the lesson and climb on over! 38 and life is great ☀️’
