- Moleiro has found his game compared to Barcelona and Spain superstar Pedri
Aston Villa are interested in Alberto Moleiro, the highly rated Las Palmas attacking midfielder.
The 19-year-old, who has been pursued by Arsenal, Liverpool and Real Madrid, is being closely watched by Villa boss Unai Emery as he looks to Spain to find players to strengthen his squad.
Moleiro has been compared to Barcelona superstar Pedri and has played a key role in Las Palmas’ promotion push this season.

The teenager made his debut in the first team in the 2021/22 season, making 38 appearances in all competitions.
As a result, Moleiro has signed a new long-term deal that runs until 2026 but given his form, it’s widely accepted that he will leave before that deal expires.
If Emery could lure Moleiro to Villa Park, he would bring in a player who only two players have improved his 29 open-game chances this season in Spain’s second division.

With Villa sitting 11th on the table, Emery is keen to make additions to propel them into the top half and into a serious fight for the top eight.
“We are talking and working on the possibility of adding some players,” the former Arsenal and Villarreal manager said this week.
“We are also talking to some players who can leave. I really want to improve everything we can in the squad but I’m so happy with the players because I think we have very good players.
“But of course we can improve and add some positions because I think we don’t have many positions in the squad that I want.
“In the next four weeks we will try to add some players, but really only if they improve our team.”
