Baseball fan goes viral after proposal goes VERY wrong at Dodger Stadium

At least she said yes! Baseball fan goes viral after sprinting onto the field to propose to his girlfriend at Dodger Stadium… only to be crushed by a security guard in a brutal one-on-one duel

A romantic Los Angeles Dodgers fan got more than he bargained for while trying to propose to his girlfriend on the field when he was punched by a security guard as he fell to one knee.

The incredible moment came during the Dodgers’ Opening Day duel against the Arizona Diamondbacks, an 8-2 win for the home team – but it will be remembered for well over three runs by James Outman.

Indeed, the night will go down in history for a moment that happened off the plate when a fan took matters into his own hands.

In various videos filmed around the park, the fan – Ricardo Juarez – leaps over the barriers at Dodger Stadium and runs into the outfield before turning to face the crowd – and his girlfriend.

He then gets on one knee to propose, in a romantic gesture that has certainly now resulted in a stadium ban.

But before he can get an answer from the stands, a security guard comes running out of nowhere and slams him to the ground before being joined by his colleagues to hold the man down and then pull him away.

It was later revealed that the woman – Ramona Saavedra – had said yes to the bold proposal after the moment quickly went viral on social media and fans went wild for the clip.

“She said yes,” reads a post on an Instagram story. “Did she have a choice after being fired like that?”

The couple celebrated the day in style by heading to the game with plenty of friends in a luxury party bus, with Saavedra documenting the big day on her Instagram profile.

The group were seen firing downshots along the way, dancing in the aisle and flexing Juarez’s muscles. The newly engaged couple posed for many photos before the proposal.

Saavedra filmed her fiancé being escorted off the field by police officers and added it to her Instagram story, writing, “OK best proposal ever I love you and yes I will marry you.”

The post, after Juarez was revealed, was sent to jail after breaking into the baseball field. Saavedra then showed a ticket detailing which police station her friend was being taken to.

In one of the angles of the incident, even the players seemed shocked by the severity of the guard’s hit, as Diamondbacks left fielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr. even put his hands on his head.

In the game itself, Los Angeles rebounded from an early 2-0 deficit to beat the Diamondbacks and secure an opening-day win with home field advantage.

Mookie Betts, Freddie Freedman, Will Smith, Miguel Vargas and Miguel Rojas each scored one run, while midfielder Outman scored three.
