Biden misplaces golf ball while golfing on family vacation in US Virgin Islands

President Biden appeared to have lost his ball during a round of golf while on vacation in the US Virgin Islands – where he and his family are basking in balmy 81F temperatures and endless sunshine.
The mishap happened on Friday when the 80-year-old President, looking sporty in a white polo shirt, blue shorts and a cap, was seen on the 18-hole course at the ultra-luxurious Buccaneer Beach and Golf Resort in Christiansted, St Croix.
The 80-year-old was pictured with his 16-year-old grandson Robert, referred to as “Hunter” by some family members.
Two Secret Service agents quickly scramble to help the nation’s leader find his ball in some nearby bushes, as critics question whether Biden is mentally fit to run in the next presidential election.

Biden – who has spent Christmas in the White House – has been spending family time on an extended break in St. Croix at the 17th-century tropical estate, which has kept him busy, including Tennis, three beaches, two freshwater pools and restaurants galore on the 340 acre property.
The President is not scheduled to return to the White House until January 2nd.
Some guests of the hotel were apparently amused by the sighting of the President and snapped some photos.
After the not-so-successful golf game, Biden took his entire brood to dinner at one of the island’s top restaurants called Savant in downtown Christiansted.
The President dined with his wife and First Lady Jill Biden and grandchildren Hunter, 16, and Natalie, 18, by his late son Beau Biden. His daughter Ashley and her husband Howard Kerin were also on island vacations.
When asked by some reporters at the restaurant about the upcoming 2024 presidential election, Biden joked, “Is there an election coming up?” “2023 is going to be a good year,” he said.
Although no official decision has yet been made, Biden has previously stated that he intends to run for re-election in 2024.

The island of St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands was one of the Bidens’ favorite vacation spots, a place he traveled to when he was vice president under former President Barack Obama, the Caribbean Journal reported.
But this is his first trip to US territory as president.
The Bidens live in the home of billionaire Democrats Bill and Connie Neville in St. Croix, according to the White House. The Bidens don’t pay rent but stay as “guests” at the home on Solitude Bay, a private community with its own beach. Homes there can sell for around $3 million, according to real estate websites.

Voters had doubts about the president’s health and sanity and made a number of mistakes over the past year.
In February, Biden hinted that a “small incursion” by Russia into Ukraine might not provoke a Western response. In September he told 60 Minutes: “The pandemic is over”. Obviously, Anthony Fauci disagrees. In October he warned that the world was on the brink of nuclear “Armageddon”. And in November, Biden claimed his late son Beau died while serving in Iraq.
The Republican National Committee claimed on its Twitter account that Biden has so far spent 280 days of his presidency on vacation.
During his absence, the President was still working on his agenda. Biden wore a suit and tie on Thursday Sign the 4,000-page, $1.7 trillion spending bill that will fund the government through September 2023.
The bill had to be flown in commercially from Washington to Biden.
It’s not the first time a piece of legislation has been commercially flown to the President’s site.
In May, a US $40 billion aid package for Ukraine was sent to South Korea with an associate on a commercial flight while Biden was in Seoul for meetings with Asian leaders.
On Friday night, the President and First Lady pre-taped an interview — as 2022 is drawing to a close — that will air Saturday night on ABC’s Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest.
