Blake Lively dons a whimsical shirt and dungarees while filming new drama ‘It Ends With Us’ in New Jersey
Blake Lively cut a whimsical figure on the set of her upcoming movie It Ends With Us in Hoboken, New Jersey on Friday.
The 35-year-old actress wore a colorful retro shirt for the outdoor shoot, which she wore underneath brown dungarees.
Her unique costume also included orange suede platform shoes and an oversized worker’s jacket.
Blake wore flaming red tresses styled into loose curls that fell over her shoulder and also wore natural makeup.
In the scenes, she was busy removing leaves from the sidewalk before later chatting with the crew during a break.

Based on the romance novel by Colleen Hoover, It Ends With Us stars Blake as a woman named Lily who is in an abusive marriage.
In the book, Lily grows up watching her father beat her mother, and while she hopes not to repeat the pattern, she ends up being married off to a man who also beats her.
Lily’s abusive husband, Ryle, is played by Justin, who also directs the film and shares screenwriting with Christy Hall.
Meanwhile, the passionate Brandon Sklenar, who once played Burt Reynolds in a miniseries, plays Lily’s reappearing first love, Atlas.
The cast includes comedian Hasan Minhaj, who was cast to play Ryle’s best friend and was featured in filming with Justin.
When Blake’s cast was announced, Colleen gushed about her leading lady on Instagram, who described the book as “a little inspired by my mom.”
“Blake Lively, folks! “She’s my dream Lily,” Colleen gushed in the tearful video, which was filmed outside the home she grew up in.
“And then when I first met Justin Baldoni, who is directing the movie It Ends With Us, I immediately wanted him to play Ryle. I just thought he had what it takes.’

Several fans took issue with Blake’s casting in the comments, noting the age difference between her and Lily, who is 23 in the book.
As for her personal life, Blake has been married to Ryan Reynolds for over a decade and the duo are the proud parents of four children.
In addition to their three daughters, James, eight, Inez, six, and Betty, three, they also have an infant whose name and gender they have not yet revealed publicly.
