Bobby Brazier cuts a casual figure during the break in filming of EastEnders

Bobby Brazier looked relaxed on Monday as he took a break from filming EastEnders at Elstree Studios.

The 19-year-old actor looked effortlessly stylish in a statement lime green padded coat.

He added a pair of frayed-edged blue jeans and black boots, while wearing a pair of headphones on his head.

Bobby’s outing comes after he opened up about his late mother, Jade Goody, and his take on the ‘Nepo Baby’ debate.

Jade tragically passed away in 2009 at the age of 27 after a battle with cervical cancer, and her death was credited with leading to a significant increase in women attending her cervical cancer screenings.

Bobby was just five years old at the time and revealed that he bases his memory of his mother on what others tell him about her.

Speaking to the Times about what he remembered about Jade, he said: “Not much. Maybe memories of memories. I am always told about her and what she meant to people. I guess I know my mother through other people’s memories of my mother.”

Jade has had a notoriously tumultuous relationship with fame after being slandered for her shocking racist comments towards Indian actress Shilpa Shetty on Celebrity Big Brother in 2007

Bobby said: “I never really thought about her experience with fame. I think assuming that someone’s experience of fame is glamorous or that it will make you sane or happy is silly. It might do some things better, but because of that it will make other things worse.’

Bobby is now a model and actor and bagged the role of Freddie Slater in EastEnders last year.

Regarding the current “Nepo-Baby” debate, he said the following: “Put simply, what’s the point of an opportunity if you can’t deliver it? I really believe in my abilities. So thank you mum and dad for the opportunities that may come my way. But I can thank myself for believing in myself and my father for believing in me.’

Bobby also spoke about his religious beliefs, saying he believes his mother is still around, adding, “Maybe as a guide, maybe as an angel, maybe as a teacher, maybe as a protector.”

Bobby, who lives with his father Jeff Brazier, 43, brother Freddie, 18, and stepmother Kate, previously told The Sun how he thinks Jade “would love” him if he “did my best to make something of my life” after making a career of Like a Model.

He said, “Like any boy, you want to think your mother would be proud of you.

“I hope she looks down at me and smiles, probably laughs, and thinks, ‘Look at Bobby lying in a field in his designer clothes.’

Jade sent shockwaves around the world in 2008 when she was told live on India’s Big Brother, Bigg Boss, that she was suffering from cervical cancer before realizing she was terminal the following year.

She then died in March, a month after marrying Jack Tweed.

Bobby’s father Jeff has become an advocate for mental health and surviving grief, not only for his two boys, but even published the book The Grief Survival Guide: How to Navigate Loss and All that Comes With It in 2017.
