All charges result from an incident at the premises, which reportedly occurred around 10:40 p.m. on July 16, 2022.

This was hours after Bolton played a pre-season friendly at Carlisle United’s Brunton Park.

Both men appeared in the dock at Workington Magistrates’ Court this morning.

Dressed in dark suits and white shirts, they spoke to confirm their full names, dates of birth and addresses.

Non-guilty pleas to the actual assault charges were filed on her behalf by an attorney who acted for the couple during a brief hearing.

After hearing the prosecutor’s remarks, the judges concluded that they could keep the case for trial with their sentencing powers if convicted for a maximum of 12 months in prison.
