Borussia Dortmund’s child prodigy Youssoufa Moukoko signs a new four-year contract

Borussia Dortmund prodigy Youssoufa Moukoko is more likely to stay with the German giants this summer than become a free agent… The 18-year-old forward is set to sign a new four-year deal
According to reports from Germany, Youssoufa Moukoko wants to extend his stay at Borussia Dortmund.
The teenage striker’s contract with the German giants was due to expire this summer, putting European giants like Chelsea and Barcelona, as well as Newcastle, on high alert.
But Sky Sports Germany report that there have been positive talks between the player and the club, with a very likely agreement on a new four-year deal.

The 18-year-old striker’s contract was due to expire this summer but now the prodigy seems close to signing a new four-year deal that will keep him at the German giants
According to Sky, there has been a breakthrough in negotiations between BVB and Moukoko’s agent Patrick Williams at the club’s current training camp in Marbella – although some details have yet to be worked out.
Earlier in the year it seemed likely that the 18-year-old prodigy would leave on a free transfer once his contract expired, with Dortmund’s offer and the player’s demands reportedly being “far apart”. Bild revealed the German giants fell £1million short of his demands.
The new deal is thought to net Moukoko a base salary of around £50,000 a week – potentially up to £85,000 a week including bonuses – plus an application fee of around £8.8million.
Club boss Hans-Joachim Watzke said on Wednesday: “Of course we hope that he will stay with us.”

The news will strengthen Dortmund’s coach Edin Terzic (pictured above) enormously.

Two-time international Moukoko has scored six goals in 14 Bundesliga games this season
The German has scored six goals in 14 Bundesliga games this season and is widely regarded as one of the most promising talents in world football.
In December, Moukoko responded to reports that he was in contract talks with Dortmund, tweeting: “Please don’t believe everything you read in the papers. I won’t let myself be pressured into making a decision about my future. I will never accept such a lie about me.
“My full concentration is on the second half of the season at Borussia Dortmund. No player is bigger than the club and I will never be bigger than the club, just a small part of it. It’s really sad that something like this is made up just to give you fans the wrong impression of me. I’m really shocked by this story.’
On Thursday he was reportedly embroiled in an age cheating storm when he claimed he was 22 not 18 and Premier League clubs are likely to retire this summer.
