Brazilian “Spiderman” killer Danelo Cavalcante has escaped the latest police frontier and been spotted 25 miles away in a new town WITHOUT facial hair after climbing out of a Pennsylvania prison for 10 days

Escaped killer Danelo Cavalcante may have shaved his beard, recovered a stolen van and stormed through the search zone, police fear, after releasing new images of the killer on the doorstep of a Pennsylvania home.

Cavalcante, 34, was serving a life sentence for the murder of his ex-girlfriend Debora Brandão, a mother of two whom he stabbed more than 30 times in front of her children in 2021.

Residents have been warned to stay indoors since Cavalcante scaled two walls, a fence and barbed wire to escape from the Chester County Jail on Aug. 31, fearing he would try to take hostages.

The “extremely dangerous” killer has been spotted repeatedly in the 759-square-mile search area surrounding the prison, but the latest images captured by a Ring camera in East Pikeland Township are the clearest yet.

He is wearing a black baseball cap, green hoodie, green prison pants and white shoes and appears to be grinning at the camera while looking directly into the camera.

Police are expected to hold a news conference later Sunday after announcing he now owns a white 2002 Ford Transit van with Pennsylvania license plate ZST8818.

The van is believed to have a refrigeration unit on the roof and was stolen from West Chester-based Baily’s Dairy.

A former girlfriend of the Brazilian-born killer warned that Cavalcante was a “violent” and “dangerous” man who was looking for a knife and someone to use as a hostage.

She told News Nation she was “not surprised” that Cavalcante was able to escape, saying he evaded police for so long because he “grew up in the woods.”

“I think he could be very aggressive or dangerous if (police) catch him the wrong way,” she added.

Security footage shows that Cavalcante escaped from prison after climbing the walls of an exercise area by placing his hands against one wall and his legs against the other and shuffling upwards.

The prison guard who was on duty when Cavalcante escaped has reportedly been fired.

The unnamed correctional officer at the Chester County Jail in question had reportedly worked at the prison for 20 years.

After the escape, the tower officer was searched and found carrying his personal cellphone, a violation of prison rules, sources said The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The first sighting of Cavalcante came when he was spotted at 1:43 a.m. on Sept. 2 in the 1800 block of Lenape Road in Pocopson Township, about 1.5 miles from the Chester County Jail.

He was later seen on surveillance video in the early hours of September 2nd wearing a white T-shirt and white sneakers and carrying a backpack that he had mysteriously received.

It was later reported that the criminal was seen again at his house at 11:45 pm on Friday evening in the same area by a resident of Pocopson Township. He “turned on the lights” at the owner’s house, then stole some groceries and then left.

He told ABC6, “I decided to flip the switch three, four, five times, take a break, and then he flipped a light switch downstairs.” That’s when I thought, “Oh my God, this guy is down there.”

“I saw him walk from the kitchen through our living room, open the door and walk out.” He was wearing a white shirt and carrying a bag.

“Peaches, apples, green snap peas were missing.” “We have some small steak knives and he could have used one of those.”

A state trooper also saw Cavalcante in the Pocopson Township area during the day on September 2nd.

A trail camera recorded Cavalcante hiking through the forest twice within an hour on Monday, September 4th.

On Tuesday, September 5, Cavalcante was spotted again at night near Chandler Road in the Pennsbury area by a resident who saw the prisoner in the creek bed near her home.

The escaped prisoner was then spotted near Longwood Gardens around midday on September 7th. A resident saw him running in a wooded area and Longwood Gardens was closed early as police officers searched for Cavalcante.

Police confirmed another sighting of the criminal on Thursday evening, September 7, but did not provide any details.

There may have been a ninth sighting of the escaped prisoner on the morning of Friday, September 8th, in connection with the break-in at a house in Kennett Square.

Cavalcante is also wanted in a 2017 murder case in his native Brazil. Authorities believe he tried to flee to Mexico to return to Brazil after being captured in Virginia for Brandão’s killing.

Police have broadcast footage of the prisoner’s mother speaking in Portuguese from helicopters flying over the search area to facilitate his peaceful handover. They have previously warned that the fugitive could try to flee to Brazil.

They are also offering a $20,000 reward for his recapture.
