Leandro Trossard has reportedly boarded a Eurostar train back to Belgium in connection with incidents that saw him relegated from Brighton’s squad for this weekend’s Premier League game.
Trossard’s quick departure from England came after the star was told he would not be part of the Seagulls team to face Liverpool on Saturday.
The Belgian has been heavily linked with a move from Brighton in January as Tottenham were keen to land the winger.
According to The Express, Trossard reportedly drove his car from his home in England to the Eurostar tunnel in Dover in response to his hiring, which was questioned by club manager Roberto De Zerbi.

The Belgian is reportedly unhappy with the decision to be left out of Brighton’s squad to face Liverpool

Brighton manager Roberto de Zerbi has dropped Trossard from the club’s matchday squad to face Liverpool on Saturday
Brighton’s joint-leading goalscorer Trossard has scored seven goals in his last 16 Premier League games for the club but his future on the south coast has recently come into question.
On Friday, team manager Roberto De Zerbi confirmed Trossard would not play a role in the squad to face Jurgen Klopp’s side at American Express Stadium, telling reporters: “Leandro knows my opinion very well.
“The last session before the Middlesbrough game, when he realized he wasn’t playing, he left the session without saying anything to me.

“This is not good. I spoke to him on Monday and told him I didn’t like that attitude.”
Saturday’s visit to Liverpool marks Trossard’s second consecutive missed game after missing out on the Brighton side who secured a place in the fourth round of the FA Cup last weekend. However, De Zerbi admitted at the time that the omission was forced by an injury to the attacker.
