Brooke Shields stunned in a pink dress as she walked the red carpet at the 2023 National Board of Review Awards Gala.

The 57-year-old actress smiled at the annual event, held at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City on Sunday night, days after she announced a “fresh start” in a New Year’s Day Instagram post.

At the event, Shields presented the award for Best Animated Feature, which was won by Marcel the Shell With Shoes On and received by celebrity writer Jenny Slate and writer-director Dean Fleischer-Camp.

Shields performed in a pink mini dress that hit her below the knees, with small cut-outs at the front and back.

She was accessorized with a silver watch, silver bracelets, and silver rings for the annual event.

The actress also posed backstage with Slate and Fleischer-Camp after accepting her award.

The outing comes just weeks after Shields opened up about her life in a wide-ranging interview with NewBeauty magazine, admitting, “I’m still a work in progress.”

She recently launched a new podcast called Now What? with Brooke Shields and a wellness company called Beginning is Now.

“The brand is aimed at women over 40 and is a well-being and wellness platform,” she explained.

Opening up: The outing comes just weeks after Shields opened up about her life in a wide-ranging interview with NewBeauty magazine, admitting: “I’m still a work in progress.”

“It’s meant to encourage and inspire women to start new chapters in their lives and move forward — rather than feeling like their life is over because they’ve reached a ‘certain age,'” she added.

The podcast launched in October and has had guests including her Blue Lagoon co-star Christopher Atkins, actress Jessica Capshaw and comedian Patton Oswalt.

“In the beginning I told the guests that they didn’t have to answer anything; I felt like I was betraying her by suddenly being on this “side of it,” she began.

The actress comes from the HBO Max film “Holiday Harmony” with Annelise Cepero and Jeremy Sumpter.

She is also in post-production on Out of Order, starring Luis Guzman, Brandon Routh and Sam Huntington, and is producing Quarter, starring Eric Roberts, Breckin Meyer, Tati Gabrielle and Brec Bassinger.
