David Njoku has revealed the severe facial burns he suffered in Week 4.
The Browns tight end injured his face and arm in a domestic accident late last month, but missed no time while suiting up for Cleveland against the Ravens.
And on Wednesday, the 27-year-old shared a picture of the burns he suffered and posted a photo of himself wearing sunglasses on Instagram.
“Legacy,” he captioned the photo dump.

Njoku also wore a balaclava to hide facial burns during the warm-up before the 28-3 defeat
Fans were quick to praise him in the comments.
“The fact that you continued to play after this incident makes you an absolute legend,” one wrote in the comments.
“And he dropped out two days after that unfortunate accident…” said another.

Prior to the Browns’ Week 4 loss to the Ravens, Njoku was listed as questionable on the injury report.

But he assured fans he would be active for the Ravens game, previously writing on X: “The flesh is weak. See you tomorrow #DawgPound.”
He then turned up for his game wearing a beige face mask before warming up in a balaclava.
Cleveland had a bye last week but will face the 49ers on Sunday.
