They shared that every time flight attendants hear the signal, they need to act quickly and are often prepared for the worst-case scenario.
The flight attendant said it was better to approach her to get her attention.
“That way we don’t rush up and down the plane and act like someone might be having a heart attack when they just need a beer,” they said.
However, they also warned that passengers should touch staff and that most flight attendants would rarely accept a light tap.
“I’ve been stung, poked and even pinched before and it doesn’t go at all,” they said.
The flight attendant suggested using something else to get her attention, even whistles and clicks.
