Von Moger was in an induced coma fighting for his life after falling from a second floor window at his home in Geelong, Victoria on May 6, 2022.
He had returned home to his hometown to live in October 2021 after spending seven years in Los Angeles to pursue his bodybuilding and acting careers.
Shortly after his return, however, he ran afoul of the law after a traffic incident in Melbourne on January 26, 2022, in which he stabbed another motorist’s tire with a knife.
Just days later, he was pulled over for driving without a license plate, with police discovering quantities of methamphetamine, cannabis, testerone, Proviplex and Viaplex.
He evaded conviction after pleading guilty to a number of charges after his attorney told the court he was traumatized by a car theft in Los Angeles.
“Unfortunately, he got out of hand soon after,” the Herald Sun reported of his attorney.

A member of his team posted on Instagram, telling fans it was going to be a “long road” to recovery for the athlete.
“Anyone who has ever gone through an addiction or had someone in their family who had an addiction knows it’s not an easy road,” he said.
