Carol Vorderman’s age-defying features left fans speechless as she hosted the Pride of Britain Awards on ITV on Thursday.

The 62-year-old TV personality, who has hosted the party for 24 years, looked sensational as she took to the stage in a shimmering black dress alongside co-host Ashley Banjo.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan declared: “Carol Vorderman looks younger every year.”

While a second wrote: “Carol Vorderman looks so young at the Pride of Britain Awards.”

At the taped event, which took place at London’s Grovenor Hotel on Sunday, Carol turned heads as she walked the red carpet in a glamorous blue satin dress

The presenter showed off her incredible curves and tiny waist in the strapless dress as she hit the red carpet ahead of the incredibly moving ceremony.

The dress featured ruffle detailing on the bustier and was perfectly tailored to show off Carol’s stunning figure.

She appeared to be in great spirits as she flashed a smile for the cameras at the event.

This came after Carol and Ashley expressed their close bond ahead of the awards show.

The Countdown presenter met the Diversity star’s brother Jordan when they completed I’m A Celeb together in 2016 and the families are now good friends.

Through Jordan, Carol met the former Dancing On Ice judge and is now close to the whole family, including his two children Rose, four, and Micah, three.

Discussing their relationship with The mirrorCarol said: “We get on really well.” Through Jordan, I met Ash and her family. They are amazing.’

Ashley, 35, agreed: “Carol has become a family friend. She comes to see our shows and we support each other in everything we do. I always enjoyed working with her. I also learned a lot from her.’

The ceremony celebrates the achievements of truly remarkable people from across the UK and from all walks of life – nominated by members of the public.

After a shortlist is drawn up from thousands of entries, the winners are selected by the Pride of Britain jury.

The awards honor winners in nine categories; TSB Community Hero Award, Good Morning Britain Young Fundraiser of the Year, This Morning Emergency Services Award, Outstanding Bravery, Child of Courage, Prince’s Trust Young Achiever, Special Recognition and Outstanding Contribution.

Winners honored at the glittering event include murdered hero Lee Rigby’s son Jack Rigby, 13, and former rugby player Rob Burrow, as well as his wife Lindsay and best friend Kevin Sinfield.

Speaking about working with the TV legend, Ashley revealed that he learns a lot from Carol and her incredible memory.

The mathematician’s mind has always been extraordinary, and the dancer explained that she uses it to remember all the different details of all the incredible people who received awards that night.

It’s her 24th year hosting the show and alongside all her television work, the star makes it a priority to keep fit.

Carol focuses primarily on strength training, especially now that she’s older, as she confessed that she’s no stranger to hip thrusts, kettlebells, and training her arms, shoulders, and glutes.

And it’s obviously working, as she revealed: “I’m managing to do the splits almost for the first time in my life.”

The star also loves being in her 60s and admitted she still feels young and is happy being single.

She confessed that she had recently started watching Married At First Sight Australia while she was out of action due to Covid.

After watching the show for 20 hours, she came to the conclusion that she is definitely a happily single person.
