“Thanks to friends, family and co-workers on an otherwise rubbish day,” he captioned the photo of him with his kids and another family member.
“I’m glad I can be with the top three people in the world (+ Jem) to end it. Your words and kindness (and your food) were appreciated.
‘I haven’t reached out to you all yet but I will and I love you in heaps.’

It comes just hours after Walker, the executive producer of ABC show The Weekly starring Charlie Pickering, announced his split from Bickmore on Instagram in a nearly identical post she uploaded this morning.
“It is with great sadness that @bickmorecarrie and I have decided to separate,” he wrote.
“While it is a difficult time, we are focused on raising, loving and supporting our three amazing children, Ollie, Evie and Addie, with everything we have. You are doing great.

“We will have no further comment at this time,” he concluded.
While the news came as a shock to fans, Bickmore – who was photographed with her children on Byron Bay beach just weeks ago – had hinted at her private struggles in a farewell letter to The Project’s hair and make-up team, after she left the show in November.
In a handwritten note to her glam squad, the mother of three thanked them for helping her get through some of the toughest times of her life.

“To my hair and makeup family. Shit, I’m already crying,” the letter began.
“You held my hand through some of the toughest days of my career. You hear everything, see everything and share everything with me and I cannot explain how much I will miss you all.
“There is an unspoken bond between us all and please never forget how special you all are. I know this isn’t goodbye, just goodbye for now. Love to you all, Carrie.”
Bickmore and Walker’s love story captured the hearts of Australians.
They met as colleagues on The Project — she was a host and he was a producer — and they began dating in late 2012, two years after she lost her husband Greg Lange, the father of their eldest child Ollie, to brain cancer.
Despite his terminal diagnosis, Bickmore had married Lange in 2005 when she was just 25 years old.
After Lange died in 2010 at the age of 35, a widowed Bickmore founded the charity Bickmore’s Beanies for Brain Cancer in his memory.
Two years later, Bickmore had found love again with Walker, who became a stepfather to Oliver and with whom she later had two daughters: Evie, born in 2015, and Adelaide, born in 2018.
