Celebrity plastic surgeon warns twenty-somethings not to use too many facial fillers, saying it could make them look ‘too mature’ for their age: ‘You don’t need more volume!’

The famous plastic surgeon Dr. Sachin Shridharani has encouraged young people to be careful about facial fillers.
Speak with The face with Alex Pike On this week’s podcast, the New York-based surgeon opened up about the “overuse” of fillers among people in their early 20s.
Alex, 46, a celebrity cosmetic injector herself, agreed with the doctor about the issue of “filler fatigue” and “fillorexia” in patients.
“I think there is definitely an element where a lot of people in this industry start to look the same,” Sachin said bluntly.
Dr. Shridharani, who trained at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Hospital, added that the trend of overcrowding of young patients was “concerning.”

“It’s kind of strange, all the cheekbones are too high, all the lips are too full, they’ve given up their own natural beauty,” he added.
Dr. Shridharani said he has no problem telling patients “no” when necessary and stressed the importance of maintaining a good reputation in the industry when it comes to treating people.
“Why are we injecting these 20 or so patients who don’t need any additional volume?” “It’s concerning,” he explained.
“I don’t take full faces that already look statuesque and pour another two or three ml on their cheekbones just to make a patient happy.”

Alex, one of Australia’s best celebrity injectors, and Dr. Shridharani spoke about “filler fatigue” and the overuse of fillers in young people on Alex’s podcast, “The Face with Alex Pike.”

Dr. Shridharani admitted that excess filler can make a patient look “weird” and like a “caricature” of themselves.
“It ages the face.” “It makes it look a little too mature in some ways,” he explained.
He continued that a youthful face is a “volume-restored” face that produces the best overall outcome for patients.

Liam went on to say that he now avoids taking photos and is afraid to even upload videos to his Instagram Stories.
