The network posted a call for players to come to the upcoming tapings on both Instagram and the 10 Play website over the weekend.

Among the lures for potential viewers was the offer of free candy.

The Ten Play ad notes that those who participate “can eat free lollipops. If you want’.

It also promises plenty of laughs, “including some exclusive, non-airtime, commercial-only comedy from the project team.”

Another lure is seeing, ‘what happens in the commercial breaks’.

Tickets are free and those wishing to join the studio audience can apply to shows recorded in Sydney and Melbourne through the 10 Play website.

New stars Sam Taunton and Michael Hing will join the show in 2023, along with Sarah Harris and existing panelists Waleed Aly and Hamish Macdonald.

Georgie Tunny, who was already a fixture on the current show, will also appear in the new season.

The project has been rocked by several high-profile exits in recent months. Lisa Wilkinson (pictured) announced last year that she was quitting, effective immediately

It follows the mass exit of stars Carrie Bickmore, Lisa Wilkinson and Peter Helliar from the troubled series.

Tommy Little was also quietly removed as a regular panelist last month.

The stand-up comic is no longer an “official” cast member, but will make sporadic appearances on the show, according to TV Blackbox.
