Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech ‘offers himself to Barcelona’ after the club’s busy January window

Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech “offers himself to Barcelona” as the disgraced Moroccan international fears the club’s busy spending spree in January will push him even further down the pecking order
Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech has reportedly offered himself for a move to Barcelona.
The Morocco international has made just five appearances in all competitions for Chelsea so far this season.
His chances appear further limited thanks to the Blues’ busy January transfer window, during which they signed six players.

Hakim Ziyech wants to leave Chelsea and has reportedly offered himself to Barcelona

The Moroccan international has had to deal with a spot on the bench for much of this season
According to Sport, Ziyech wants to leave Stamford Bridge amid fears he will fall even further down the pecking order.
He also feels he can come to the Nou Camp and replace Memphis Depay, who has completed a £2.6million move to Atletico Madrid.
There was already plenty of competition in the Chelsea squad ahead of the January window, with Raheem Sterling, Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic all battling for spots.
Chelsea’s sixth signing of the window came in the form of Noni Madueke for £26million from PSV.

Chelsea have further deepened Ziyech’s position in the form of Noni Madueke
Madueke shares the same position as Ziyech, while Chelsea brought further attacking reinforcements with Mykhailo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk for £88m and Joao Felix on loan from Atletico Madrid.
Sport claimed that Barcelona already had Ziyech on their shortlist last year before they decided to loan out Ferran Torres and Adama Traore.
Since joining Chelsea in 2020 for £33m, Ziyech has made 97 appearances for the club, scoring 14 goals and providing 11 assists.

Ziyech believes he can replace Memphis Depay who left Barcelona for Atletico Madrid
However, he has made just nine appearances in the Premier League this season, although six of those have been sent off the bench.
Ziyech had received offers over the summer and following his good performances for Morocco at the World Cup, other sides are believed to be knocking on his door.
Offers are not lacking. He already had it in the summer and now, after his fine performance with Morocco at the World Cup – they finished fourth – there will be many more teams knocking on his door.
