Chengdu Hunters sign Jiqiren ahead of Overwatch League Season 2

The Chengdu Hunters signed Wei “Jiqiren” Yansong as the team’s newest tank player ahead of the second Overwatch League season, the Hunters announced Wednesday.

Jiqiren is a former Miraculous Youngster player who left the team when it disbanded in 2017. He has since played for Team CC in Overwatch Contenders China.
His new addition to the Chengdu Hunters will reunite Jiqiren with former teammates Ma “Lateyoung” Tianbin, Zhang “YangXiaoLong” Zhihao and coach Wang “RUI” Xingrui.
The Season 2 schedule has been officially announced by the league. The first day of the season is February 14th. The Chengdu Hunters, one of eight new teams joining the Overwatch League, will play their first game on February 15 against the Guangzhou Charge.
