Kimberley recently said Girls Aloud were “not ready to go back on stage” following Sarah’s death.
The West End star revealed that she and the girls do not plan to perform together any time soon following the death of her beloved bandmate Sarah.
In October 2021, Love Machine ruled out a reunion for the Biology girl band because they weren’t in “that headspace” after Sarah’s death.
She said: “It’s obviously not really something we’re even thinking about given the current situation. ‘No one is even in that headspace at the moment.’
In February, Kimberley told MailOnline that there were no plans for a reunion in the near future.
She said: “It’s amazing that we’re turning 20 and there will be lots of personal memories for us as a group. I’m sure the four of us will look back on old memories.”
“But I think our minds aren’t capable of doing anything as a band, without Sarah it wouldn’t feel right.” But yeah, we’ll definitely be reminiscing a lot, it’s amazing that it is it’s been so long. 20 years, it’s crazy!’
Kimberley added that the occasion will be extremely poignant for the remaining members, adding: “It feels like a pretty big milestone for us, it’s going to be very bittersweet.” But we’ll just deal with it as best we can. “
Nadine revealed last year that she believed she was receiving signs from her late Girls Aloud bandmate Sarah, even when she was at home and “something was flying off the shelf.”
The singer described the difficult time she went through when Sarah passed away in September 2021.
Speaking on The Ryan Tubridy Show on RTE Radio 1 in October, Nadine told how she had filmed Irish musical talent show Last Singer Standing, where she said Sarah had sent signs of her presence.

She said: “I was so close to her in life.” There were definitely things, she made her presence known a few times. When I filmed the show, it was right in the middle of the action and the people were so friendly.
“There were a few days where the headphones would just fly across the table and it would happen three days in a row and the makeup girls would say, ‘That must be Sarah.’
“One night I was walking around my house and something flew off the shelf. I asked, ‘Is that Sarah?’ I still think she’s going to call.’
Sarah passed away on September 5, 2021. Her mother Maria confirmed her death in a statement shared on the star’s Instagram account, saying that he “slept away peacefully” after her battle with cancer.
