Chimera Warzone 2 Build: Best Attachments and Tuning

Recently introduced by the Season 1 Reloaded update, the Chimera has quickly become a favorite among players. As with other weapons in Warzone 2, this AR requires players to meet certain requirements in order to unlock it. You can either retrieve the weapon from DMZ building 21 or get operator kills with an assault rifle in 15 separate matches.

This assault rifle is equipped with an integrated silencer and boasts an impressive TTK. This weapon also benefits from various SMG properties despite being listed as AR. Currently, WZ ranked has the weapon at tier A of their loadout metal list and from what we’ve seen it’s hard to disagree.

The Chimera packs a punch on its own, but with these attachments, you’ll shred through your opponents like it’s nothing.

With our Chimera build, we decided to make the weapon as accurate and mobile as possible. Attachments like the VLK LZR 7MW, FTAC Ripper 56 and D37 Grip make it extremely easy to line up shots and utilize the weapon’s impressive TTK.

The Chimera does not require a muzzle as it already has one built in, making room for the Slimline Pro. Although we’ve already attached a laser, this weapon’s iron sights aren’t the best for aiming. The Slimline Pro gives you a better view of enemies in front of you and improves your overall accuracy. The final attachment will be the 45-round magazine. This gives you enough ammo so you don’t have to worry about having to reload mid-fight.

Once the Chimera is fully leveled up, Accessory Tuning becomes available. This is a great mechanic that is essential for elite builds to utilize. We found the following tuning measurements to be the best for this Chimera build.

All of these measurements help further enhance the accuracy improvements that our select attachments already offer. The decision to have your eye position as far away as possible on the Slimline Pro was made so you can see a little of your surroundings when aiming. This allows for quick reactions to enemies that aren’t directly in front of your sights.
