Chris Smith has been spotted in an “unbreakable” hoodie for the first time since the Sky News Christmas party scandal

Disgraced TV presenter Chris Smith wore a hoodie that read ‘unbreakable’ when he was spotted for the first time since he was fired over his ‘drunken groping’ scandal Sky News Christmas Party.

Smith, 60, was alone as he visited a Bunnings hardware store in Alexandria, Sydney, before buying some groceries at a nearby supermarket.

The former anchor also popped into a coffee shop and met up with an acquaintance before running his errands.

It is the first time he has been spotted since allegedly groping the bum of a Sky News employee at the company Christmas party in December and made several rude and inappropriate comments to other young women at the event.

The comments allegedly brought a colleague to tears, while another colleague allegedly slapped Smith for his behavior.

He also addressed a woman and eerily commented on one of her Instagram photos from a vacation, saying she has “a lot of side boobs going on.”

Three days after the party, Smith was fired from Sky and also lost his radio show on 2GB.

Smith later apologized “profusely,” blaming the incident on long-standing struggles with alcohol and bipolar disorder, while revealing he had checked himself into a psychiatric facility.

“I have a recurring problem with alcohol…it makes me manic,” he said, is a statement.

“I am in a facility and receiving professional help to finalize my alcohol abuse treatment and resolve this once and for all, without limitation…it can and will be done.”

His wife Susie Burrell moved out of the couple’s home after learning about the incident at the Christmas party.

The nutritionist, author and columnist – who also has a degree in psychology – took the couple’s six-year-old twin sons with her.

Smith’s dismissal from Sky and 2GB marked the third time he has been officially reprimanded for improper conduct in his 40-year career.

A former Nine Network employee accused him of exposing his genitals and pressing them against a wall during an office party 24 years ago.

Sally, who is not her real name, said he only received a “slap on the wrist” after allegedly unzipping his trousers at a farewell party while appearing on Channel Nine’s flagship show A Current Affair in Artarmon in 1998, Sydney finished.

The female staffer told the Daily Telegraph Smith approached her while he was “a bit drunk” at a Channel Nine to say goodbye to her and two other colleagues.

Smith was her chief of staff at A Current Affair at the time, while being the youngest employee at the office, having landed her job with the network straight out of university.

The program’s staff met for the shindig in the network’s plush third-floor boardroom.

‘We were in that boardroom. We all had drinks and chilled and I was clearly a little drunk in the middle of it when Chris staggered and swayed towards me,” she said.

“I’m paraphrasing here, but he said something along the lines of ‘I want to fuck you, you’re hot as fuck,’ and then I looked down, his pants zipper is unbuttoned and his penis is hanging out.’

She claimed she was shocked at the time and tried to get away from Smith and turned a corner – but he followed her.

“There he held me against the wall, still with his penis hanging out, his drunken breath on my face, and kept telling me how much he wanted me,” she claimed.

The woman said she pushed him away, fled to the other side of the room, and told the show’s receptionist what had happened.

She said Smith then came and stumbled upon the pair, still with their genitals exposed, before telling him to zip up – which he didn’t.

The staffer then called for help from a passing senior colleague, who reportedly saw Smith’s exposed genitals and grabbed his collar before dragging him from the boardroom.

The woman said she still has a photographic memory of the event because it was so distressing and recalls breaking out in a cold sweat and shaking.

Smith was never fired for the incident, only “slapped on the wrist,” she said.

The woman explained how he was banned from going to the Channel Nine bar and had his car taken away from him for six months.

She added that she did not comment on the incident because she feared it would hurt her career, claiming rumors of the horrific incident had hampered her attempts to get a good job in the industry.

Smith was demoted from his role as chief of staff at A Current Affair after the incident – but he got caught again.

The TV commentator was temporarily suspended while working at 2GB following the channel’s 2009 Christmas party.

He is said to have behaved inappropriately towards several women and tried to kiss a colleague.
