Chelsea and United States winger Christian Pulisic is expected to remain on the sidelines for an extended period after leaving Chelsea’s 1-0 loss to Man City last week with a knee injury.
Pulisic left the game after just 22 minutes on January 5 and Chelsea boss Graham Potter revealed on Wednesday the player could be out of action until March.
‘Christian [Pulisic] is a few months, we think. frame [Sterling] is less, hopefully less than that,” he told reporters.
Pulisic has struggled with injury problems throughout his Chelsea career, only starting in 13 league games last season.
But he appeared to be back in favor after an impressive World Cup with the United States, having started Chelsea’s last three league games before being substituted against City.
The winger has one goal and two assists in all competitions this season.
