President Joe Biden sees millions of Americans as partially fascist and borderline terrorists. It would be ridiculous if it wasn’t so disturbing.
After wearing out the “racist” label that Biden and his political allies have applied to almost every political opponent, the Dotard president has moved on to new baseless and dangerous insults.
Last week in Maryland, while campaigning amid stunningly negative poll numbers, Biden remarked, “It’s not fair [Donald] Trump, it’s the whole philosophy that underpins this – I’ll say something – it’s like semi-fascism.
That’s pretty much the charge of the tens of millions of Americans who voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020.
To make matters worse, Speaker Karine Jean-Pierre appeared in a stunning White House news briefing on Wednesday to raise the stakes when she previewed the president’s prime-time address on Thursday night, in which he said: topics is expected to bring home.
“The MAGA Republicans are the most energetic part of the Republican Party,” she hesitantly read out prepared remarks. “This is an extreme threat to our democracy, our freedom, our rights. . . this is the most active base of the Republican Party.”

Let’s be clear: the White House isn’t calling legislators fascists and extremists – which is worrying enough – it’s talking about American citizens.
That is shocking.
No wonder 43% of US adults believe civil war is likely within the next 10 years. Our President is essentially telling Americans that their neighbor could be the enemy.
This is clearly intentional. Why?
Now, after campaigning as a unifier for president in 2020 to “restore the soul of America,” the politically faltering Biden has moved on to phase two — campaigning for re-election in 2024 as divider.
Remember when Biden tweeted, “It’s time to put aside the harsh rhetoric, lower the temperature and start listening to each other again. In order to progress, we must stop treating our opponents as our enemies. We are not enemies. We are Americans.’
We can laugh about it now – or cry.
If Biden thinks almost half the country is made up of racists and extremists, how on earth is he going to represent their interests as president?
Blaming opponents of fascism is just the latest and craziest claim progressives have made in an attempt to avoid disaster in this November’s congressional elections.
Unfortunately, voters have an elegant habit of firing the man in charge when the economy is bad, and runaway inflation tells them all they need to know.
But the sheer levity of these remarks cannot be underestimated. If Biden thinks almost half the country is made up of racists and extremists, how on earth is he going to represent their interests as president?
Hillary Clinton branded Trump’s voters ‘regrettable’, Biden says they are worse.
What to do with all these fascists running amok in America? Throw them in some re-education camps?
Out of curiosity, what would the modern adaptation of fascism that emerged in Germany, Japan, and Italy in the 1930s look like in America?
After their predecessors, modern fascists would certainly try to control language, treat sensible subjects as taboo, and punish those who did not comply with the loss of their livelihood.
Unyielding free spirits could be “wiped out,” if you will.
Fascists feel the need to redefine a nation’s history to fit radical political goals. Fascist dictator Benito Mussolini invoked the Roman Empire even though it was irrelevant to 20th-century Italy. Adolf Hitler claimed that Germany would have won World War I had it not been stabbed in the back by its own politicians.
To transform the country, modern-day fascists might seek to redefine America’s founding, from one that provided the greatest impetus for expanding liberty in human history to a sleazy one based on the spread of slavery.
Modern fascists would take care to control the state power apparatus, which ultimately has a monopoly on the legitimate use of force.
Surely they would want to transform the FBI’s Washington field office from an organization pursuing outright spies, terrorists and violent predators into an organization running political errands by pursuing the opposition party.
Contemporary fascists updated their ancestors’ corporatism, which became even more pronounced in Germany after the “Night of the Long Knives” eliminated more socialist-oriented elements under the Nazis.
Instead of just letting state agencies implement policy, they would have friends in dominant corporations doing it.
They could ask companies like Google, Twitter, and Facebook to “moderate” criticism that wasn’t helpful to the regime and the regime’s lies, such as
Of course, all these fascist or “semi-fascist” things are not just theoretical. They have all happened in recent years, directed by the people who are now accusing others of being fascist.
In doing so, they demonstrate another characteristic of fascists: They accuse the opposition of exactly what you owe yourself.
Will it scare voters to support the incumbent team that has dumped the country?
In a word: no.
Voters in the 2024 midterm elections and presidential campaign will make a judgment about the reality they see in their lives. And that reality doesn’t reflect Biden’s capricious swabs or feverish dreams.
Biden will be gone soon, but the damage he is doing to the fabric of our nation will be long-lasting.
