Controversial influencer Kate Szepanowski has admitted to using illegal tanning beds while boasting about getting a tan on Thursday.

The Queensland-based vaccine opponent, 27, shared her “self-care” regime with her followers on her Instagram Stories.

The list included eating fruit, infrared sauna, massage, bath, peeling and shaving, dyeing eyebrows, showering, washing hair – and going to the solarium.

Szepanowski was called out by celebrity snark account Dutch Minty, who reposted this list and pointed out the word “tanning bed” along with a vomit emoji.

The blonde bombshell later shared a photo of her infrared sauna but didn’t post a picture of a tanning bed.

Commercial tanning beds have been banned in Queensland since 2015 because of the huge risk of skin cancer.

Kate is the sister of anti-vaxxer influencer Chloe Szepanowski, who faced backlash in August 2021 for going shopping without a face mask at the height of the pandemic.

The social media star lost over 6,000 fans after sharing a post supporting the ‘Freedom Rally’ anti-lockdown protest.

Meanwhile, Kate is no stranger to controversy herself, regularly taking to her Instagram to spread anti-vax and COVID conspiracy theories.

“That’s why I’d rather die than get injected with this poison,” she captioned a picture of vaccine misinformation.

After being criticized for her comments, Kate wrote on Instagram this month: “This is your reminder to mind your own business and focus on you.”

The model was also called out after applauding Denmark for lifting Covid lockdowns, not realizing the country had opened up on its high vaccination rate.
