Countdown to Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5

The countdown to Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 is officially underway as fans await the return of the OG Fortnite map, weapons and cosmetics.

After a generally successful chapter, Epic Games sends off Fortnite Chapter 4 in style. Instead of creating a new biome like Fortnite WILDS or building new vaults like Fortnite Last Resort, Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 brings the community back to the Chapter 1 map that made the game famous. Combined with a Battle Pass full of nostalgic skins, Fortnite OG could be the best Fortnite season in 2023.

To prepare for what is arguably the most hyped Fortnite season in years, we have the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 countdown before the big release.

The countdown for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 continues until the release of Fortnite OG on Friday, November 3, 2023. Matchmaking will be disabled at 2 a.m. ET before Epic Games loads the new season onto the servers. After a few hours, the update will be available worldwide and both new and returning fans can experience Fortnite Chapter 1.

At the time of writing, there are less than three days until Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 goes live. Without a live event, the huge update will simply replace Fortnite Last Resort. Luckily, leaks promise numerous in-game events in Fortnite OG as Fortnite Chapter 5 approaches.

The theme of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 is Fortnite OG. After weeks of rumors, Epic Games finally confirmed the return of OG maps, mobility, weapons, and more.

The nostalgic season fits perfectly into the lore of Fortnite Last Resort; Kado Thorne’s time machine, which returned all of the fan-favorite mythical weapons to the island, malfunctioned, sending the community back to Fortnite Chapter 1.

As the countdown for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 approaches, we can expect Epic Games to reveal the gameplay trailer along with the full Battle Pass to tie in all the leaks and teasers that are taking over social media.
