Crazy pauses in the fight in the 92nd minute as Ferran Torres and Stefan Savic are both sent off for WRESTLING

Here we go! An injury-time row erupts between Barcelona’s Ferran Torres and Atletico Madrid’s Stefan Savic, with both players sent off for wrestling on the floor as the Catalans sit three points clear at the top of LaLiga with a 1-0 win
There was a bizarre moment at the end of Barcelona’s 1-0 win over Atletico Madrid on Sunday night as Ferran Torres and Stefan Savic were both sent off to wrestle on the pitch in the closing moments.
The incident started when they fought for the ball in the 92nd minute but the pair kept fighting after the ball was cleared by Torres as the Barca striker dragged his opponent to the ground and grappled with him for around five seconds .
There appeared to be hair pulls, nudges and headlocks between Torres and the Atlético defender, with neither player interested in the ball as it traveled across the pitch.

They both eventually got up and pushed each other away, but the incident still saw both players being shown straight red cards.
It came at the end of a bad-tempered game that saw Atletico players swarming the referee after Ousmane Dembele scored the only goal of the game amid complaints of a foul by Gavi in the build-up.
Despite his somewhat ugly nature, the win sends Barca three points clear of rivals Real Madrid to the top of La Liga and continues a superb form in which they have won four of their last five games.
Manager Xavi was in a jubilant mood after the game as he said: “It’s not just three points. that’s a huge morale boost. Without playing brilliantly we could suffer and get all three points.’

For Atletico, the defeat continues a somewhat dismal season. They are now 14 points behind Barca and outside the European places.
“We didn’t get going in the first 20 minutes,” said Diego Simeone after his team’s defeat. “It wasn’t until they scored that we started playing the way we wanted to.”
Barcelona will next be in action when they meet Real Betis in the semi-finals of the Spanish Super Cup on Thursday, while Simeone’s men meet Almeria in the league on Sunday.
