A young, popular hairdresser who mysteriously disappeared after a night out with friends has been found “safe and well”.
Dakota Lee Nagel, 24, left her home in Doncaster, north east Melbourne, at 2am on January 8 to visit several clubs and bars in Prahran and South Yarra with her friends.
She left her friends the following Sunday afternoon in a bright pink crop top with a Playboy bunny logo and has not been in touch with friends or family since.
But on Sunday evening, Victoria Police confirmed Ms Nagel was found “safe and well” in the South Yarra area.
The manner of her disappearance at this time remains unclear.

Two days after she was last seen on January 10, fears mounted when she posted a picture of her deceased dog to her Instagram page, Koda Hair Extensions.
Her family immediately reported the “strange” post to investigators, pointing out that Ms Nagel has only ever used the page to promote her business and does not upload any personal photos.
“Not a single photo on this account resembles this image, this is definitely fake,” one person wrote.
A police investigation was launched on Wednesday when Ms Nagel’s mother reported her missing.
Desperate for help, the distraught family said her disappearance was “uncharacteristic” as she was about to become a first-time aunt and would not have left her beloved dogs.
“Our family is worried sick and their chubby fur babies are in despair. She wouldn’t have left her alone for so long,” her aunt Anne-Maree Key wrote on Friday.

“Her fur babies are her life and mean as much to her as ours. She’s also going to be an aunt soon and is so excited that there’s no way she’d pass it up.
“It’s out of character for her not to contact anyone.”
A cousin added: “Please pray for her safe return home.”
Her distraught family said detectives looked at the Instagram post, which had no caption.
A commenter on the post said, “It looks like a screenshot of a locked phone’s wallpaper.”
Another wrote that they reported it based on the data and out of the blue the post treated the rest of the page as purely business. Feels very bad.’
