Damar Hamlin: Tom Brady prays for safety of Buffalo Bills in critical condition

Tom Brady is the latest to wish Buffalo Bills player Damar Hamlin well as he fights for his life in hospital.

The 24-year-old safety collapsed and received emergency medical attention after colliding with Cincinnati Bengals’ Tee Higgins during the Monday Night Football game.

Hamlin was administered CPR on the field while surrounded by teammates, some of whom broke down in tears as they shielded him from the public.

Hamlin went into cardiac arrest after colliding with the Cincinnati Bengals’ Tee Higgins

He was taken to hospital with his mother Nina at his side and a family representative has now revealed he is “struggling” but remains sedated and in critical condition.

Higgins cited support for the young player, tweeting that he was “praying Hamlin pulls through”.

Brady sent his well wishes Tuesday morning, writing on his Twitter profile: “We are praying for Damar and his family this morning in Tampa.

“Grateful to our communities in Cincinnati and Buffalo for the overwhelming level of care and support I know they will continue to provide.”
