Shilo Sanders, the son and safeties coach of Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders, was hospitalized with an undisclosed injury following the team’s upset loss to the Oregon Ducks.

“I can’t say I didn’t play hard, I’m peeing blood right now,” Shilo said YouTube outlet Well Off Media on Saturday night.

After being asked if he was OK, Shilo said, “No, I took a hit and landed on my kidney or something, bro, so I need to go to the emergency room and get checked out.”

Deion eventually told reporters that it was his son ‘do better.’

“We went to the hospital as soon as we landed.” He’s doing much better. “We pray he heals and plays this weekend,” Sanders said. “He is a valuable part of our secondary and our team on defense.”

“(Shilo) is one of the voices on defense and he plays with a certain physicality that we want and want and he has been giving me daily updates. Trust me, and I pray that he can play as both a father and a coach.’

Shilo had six tackles in Colorado’s 42-6 loss to Oregon and is the second player in two weeks that the Buffaloes had hospitalized in two games.

During the Buffaloes’ game against Colorado State two weekends ago, two-way superstar Travis Hunter was hospitalized after suffering a ruptured liver from a dirty hit.

Deion recently revealed that Hunter had texted him and explained that he wouldn’t take no for an answer when it came to returning the field in Colorado’s upcoming game against the No. 8 USC Trojans, but the coach still said No, when Hunter recovered.

Before the game, Shilo was also seen in a video talking trash about the Ducks and saying, “I will beat up every one of you and your coach.”

He was also seen telling the Oregon players, “Why are you all so small? We’re going to go through all of you.”
