Delta Goodrem reveals shocking health news as she cancels her European tour: ‘It pains my heart to share this with you’
Delta Goodrem was forced to delay her European Hearts on the Run Tour dates to allow herself strict vocal rest.
The 38-year-old Born To Try hitmaker announced her “difficult” decision on social media on Thursday.
The singer “had no voice for a long time”.
The former Neighbors star said she was devastated to let her international fans down but vowed to see them soon.
“It hurts my heart to reset the shows but please know that I love you all and your support means the world to me,” she wrote in her statement.

Delta Goodrem was forced to postpone her European Hearts on the Run Tour dates to take strict vocal rest after being “without a voice for an extended period”.
She also revealed that she’s been forced to push through a lot of projects this month.
She believed her voice would heal, but after rehearsing her show, doctors ordered Delta to take a break.
She was also preparing a new album around the same time, so she overstretched her vocal cords.

The pop superstar assured her fans that she was going to give them a show they wouldn’t forget.
“It means the world to me to do my best for you,” she added in her message.
Catch-up dates will be announced as soon as possible, all tickets remain valid.
Their Hearts on the Run Tour was scheduled to kick off in Dublin on April 4th before concluding in Manchester, England on May 3rd.
