Donna Kelce gets a hero’s welcome on her flight to Germany as she prepares to watch son Travis play the Miami Dolphins in Frankfurt (but Taylor Swift will NOT be joining her there!)
Travis Kelce’s mother Donna received a hero’s welcome on her flight to Germany on Wednesday, joining the legions of Kansas City Chiefs fans heading to Europe.
Travis and his teammates will play against the Miami Dolphins in Frankfurt on Sunday, and mom Kelce appears to be making the long journey on time, even arriving before her son.
Donna was photographed by fans as she boarded the plane, pinning her son’s number 87 on her denim jacket.
According to fans on social media, she received an enthusiastic welcome from fellow Chiefs fans aboard the long-haul flight.
Unfortunately for Travis, while the No. 1 woman in his life will be present, the No. 2 — new girlfriend Taylor Swift — will be avoiding the game as she prepares for the South American leg of her Eras tour.

Travis is unlikely to have Taylor in the stands in Germany, but his mother Donna will be there
The pop superstar will perform in Buenos Aires a week from today, beginning a run of nine shows in 17 days, and she is in the middle of preparations for the sold-out show.
Swift missed Kelce’s final game in Denver after attending four of his previous five games in Kansas City and New Jersey, but the two then spent Halloween together after she flew to his home from her base in New York.
Kelce, meanwhile, didn’t mince his words as he looked ahead to this weekend’s game in Germany, which looks set to be the Chiefs’ toughest test of the season so far.
They enter the game following a shock loss to the Broncos in snowy Denver and the tight end has no plans to take any prisoners.
“I’m ready to move the fuck on from last week,” Kelce said during his New Heights podcast on Wednesday. “I’m bloody excited to get this train rolling.”
“Next week we have a big game against the Dolphins in Germany.” Lots of excitement, lots of extras, a kind of Super Bowl media. “It’s going to be damn important to stay focused on the task at hand,” Kelce continued.

Taylor and Travis’ romance has gone from strength to strength over the past few weeks
Kelce, whose fame grew thanks to his romance with girlfriend Taylor Swift, was a prime target after Kansas City lost to Denver for the first time since 2015, scoring just nine points in the game.
He was spotted at the World Series in Texas last Friday night and was seen partying and singing Swift’s “Love Story” at a bar early Saturday morning.
“This is a point in the season where we’re either going to feel comfortable and be the team we think we are or it’s going to be harder,” Kelce said.
“Because right now we’re tied for first place in the conference with a 6-2 record and have strong division opponents.” “We still have the (Las Vegas) Raiders twice and the (Los Angeles) Chargers again,” said Kelce.
“We need to get this thing fixed immediately, enough talk about it.”
Kelce said the team will fly to Europe overnight Thursday and arrive Friday.
